Ying Yang Mentality by FutureFavorite Ying Yang Mentality by FutureFavorite
Started off just drawing out a new character and thought "he needs a gun" so i modified a IAM-M28 DMR and slapped it on there. then i thought "hmmm.....hes looking pretty lonely"
I did a little rework of "Jumping man" Infantry Drone And made them like a little duo or team!

this was actually alot of fun to draw these vitality mercenaries. even though the robot was already done it was cool to go back and change alot of stuff.

The feet seem a bit off to me. but hopefully its not to bad. It's just a little sketch with some intensive coloring and shading.

Put the respectave company logos on where each mercenary gets his/its gear from.

"a TETRAN mercenary corporate security squads are usually Elite soldiers hired at a high bid due to there ethical flexibilities and Incredibly solid tactics and stratagems."

I like everything on this one. Nice weapon concepts and rework on your Jumping man. :)
The floor texture (?) is neat, how did you do this?

I took a triangle graph PNG from the web and re adjusted length and size, and used the skewer tool to apply to floor.

They look great! I also strive to envision a "realistic" and practical philosophy in my designs as well. I'm eager to see more from you!

It'd be a pretty good setup that. One human soldier in command of a platoon of infantry drones, cuts down human losses (or manpower resourses) while maintining the advantages of humans and drones all in one.

Yep! the idea was to have a remote operated humaniod drone which could relfect nuerological motions of the user.

Very nice work man, but dukeleto is kinda right, the guns need to have some dimension to them.
And as always, your characters are stunning, the helmet is quite unique. (all in a good way of course)

YEAHHH haha I guess I got kinda lazy, but he describes how I can fix it and have me a few tips on weapon perspectives, actually working on something now that has a lot of sharp angled perspective armor on it.

Anyway thanks!

I think you should have the confidence to project the guns into a bit of perspective, it looks really obvious when they're both exactly in profile. Otherwise great!

Thanks for the feedback!

ouch. is it really that obvious? honestly i have a problem when it comes to projecting guns. Well Non organic materal in general. but yes i agree. its definitly something i will look into and im glad someone pointed it out.

So far ive only been able to Perspective Small arms such as very simple PDW's and pistols.

Thanks!

Thanks for accepting the feedback with such an open-minded attitude. It does take practice, but the way you've drawn the angular armour on the figures certainly suggests you're capable of it!

As a quick cheat, copy the weapon slightly larger & slightly nearer the POV, apart from tubular or narrow elements, that gives you an idea of the overall form in 3D.
