I can safely say that this is my current favorite drawing ive done so far....just throwing that out there...
any way first piece in a while so glad to finally knock one out.
Original design that went through 5 stages of concepts and redesigns before i got something i liked. i took ALOT of ideas from MrJumpManV4's SAU's (standard articulation unit) and there functions as well as certain parts. Jumping man was originally supposed to be a massive SAU walker. but as redesigns came he got smaller and smaller. until i decided on a good ol' infantry drone.
the Khayal MPLCAU (Multipurpose Lower Class Articulation unit) "Jumping Man" is a remote controlled via neural link drone who derives from its massive 6 story cousins. Mainly used for infantry, and corporate security some have been used to tactical espionage as well as finding use in the fields of cyber-information warfare, Especially being produced by Hebrew based company Khayal, a robotics and defense contracting firm that's in direct competition with Northern american robotics and security firm, NINE-CORP.
it gains its name from the incredible agility and frog/monkey like jumps and movements it can achieve with its nimble lightweight body frame. Jumping man is one of the first MPLCAU to have a fully fuctional Kinetic weaved Muscle system grafted into the doll-ball joints and the axial hard line of the unit, giving it its easy maneuverability and deadly QCQ/hand 2 hand combat ability.
SAU. MPLCAU. and NINECORP are copyright of MrJumpManV4 2012.
i'm a little late but i'm starting work on this now. lots of challenging shapes on this one, that and some details i'll have to make up like what is behind the vest and what the back looks like.
just noticing now how well done the hands are. gonna have a bit of trouble here making that 3D =/
Your welcome to expieeenceint with the design as long as its distungushly "jumping man" and don't worry about the back, I'll send you some notes on that. Btw, did you get my pt.1 notes via stash?
